  These are held in venues around the areas we provide our pet care services and cover the Basic Skills you would require if your pet was in an emergency situation.Please note these courses are not certified. Cost £15pp.

• Pet First Aid Level 2 (VTQ)

  A 3 hour course, this course is ideal for pet owners or pet professionals. It covers the main first aid subjects for Dogs and Cats but this information is also suitable for most other animals. This qualification is also available with an Endorsed Certificate from TQUK, an OFQUAL regulated body for an extra charge if required. You will have access to the videos, receive free optional weekly refresher video emails to keep your skills fresh and to update you on the latest news. All students will receive a free login area to our website where you can download a free student manual, print off their certified CPD statement and access other material. The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement. • Canine First Aid Level 2 (VTQ)

  A 3 hour course, this course is aimed at anyone who requires a course in first aid for dogs. It is ideal for dog owners or dog professionals. The certificate is valid for three years. • Security Dog First Aid Level 2 (VTQ)

  This course is approved by NASDU for the requirement of pet first aid in their standards. First aid is important to know for your security dog not only to comply with associations and local authorities but also for animal welfare and to help a dog in need. The nature of working with dogs will pose a risk that they may be harmed in the course of their work or transport. This course is designed to meet the NASDU learning outcomes and added a few extra modules to ensure full understanding. This qualification is also endorsed by TQUK, an OFQUAL regulated body. If you require an endorsed certificate there is an additional small charge. • Advanced Pet First Aid Level 3 (VTQ)

  Run in conjunction with the Pet Academy and ProTrainings, the Advanced pet first aid level 3 (VTQ) course covers much more details about the different injuries and illnesses that can affect dogs and cats. The course has been designed to give the pet owner or pet professional much more information in order to be able to detect early when something is wrong and give the appropriate care. The course also covers the anatomy and physiology of animals and different first aid treatments that are available. Although the treatment is basically the same between dogs and cats, the advanced course has a dedicated section to cats. This course is a ProTrainings Vocational Training Qualification (VTQ) and is ideal for pet professionals or individuals. This is a Blended training course where you complete the online module (6 hours) and a practical module (approx 6 hours) locally with one of our approved instructors where you also cover practical subjects to gain the full qualification certificate.This qualification is also available with an Endorsed Certificate from TQUK, an OFQUAL regulated body for an extra charge if required.   This course is aimed at people who work with outdoor working dogs It is ideal for dog owners or dog professionals. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
